About Layer Nine

Layer Nine is a creative studio built for the post-camera era.

Founded by Ali, a photographer, filmmaker, and creative director, Layer Nine exists to prove that AI-driven production can carry the same discipline, taste, and craft as a traditional set — without needing one.

We're not a prompt shop. Every campaign starts the way a real shoot would: with direction, references, mood, and a point of view. Then we use the full range of AI creative tools to execute it at a speed and scale traditional production can't match.

Based in Kuala Lumpur, Layer Nine works across visuals, brand, marketing, and post-production — building both client campaigns and original brand work, like ERATO and SKAI, that show what's possible when creative direction leads and the tools follow.
